Bartlett is a community all are proud to call home. We are a Village that values our past, cherishes our present and works together to thoughtfully plan for the future.

Mission Statement
The Village of Bartlett is committed to preserving the high quality of life enjoyed by our residents, providing fiscally sound, responsive municipal services, and delivering those services in a professional manner with a high degree of integrity. 

Strategic Planning 
The Village Board convened a workshop in December 2023 to kickoff a new strategic plan. This plan was not only formulated based on board policy but also informed by a comprehensive survey that residents participated in during the summer and fall of 2022.

Subsequently, the plan underwent analysis by department heads in January 2024, with additional objectives incorporated to align with the plan's goals.

The plan is divided into four categories: short-term routine, short-term complex, long-term routine and long-term complex. 

The 2024 - 2027 Village of Bartlett Strategic Plan was approved by the board of trustees at the March 5, 2024 meeting. The plan will act as a road map for the village going forward and department heads will incorporate this vision into day-to-day operations and the budget.
