Cook County Department of Animal and Rabies Control will provide low cost micro-chip implantation for your pet. The cost is $10 per animal, cash or check only. The County will assist you in filling out the forms for national registry for complete protection of your pet and will provide mailing receptacles for the most rapid registration process. National registration is $19.95 per animal for the life of the animal with no annual fees. Checks, money orders and credit cards are accepted for national registry.
