The museum’s presentation of Leslie Goddard’s “Lucille Ball” portrayal on February 26 is currently filled. All 82 seats have been reserved. The waitlist is also filled. We are not accepting any additional seating requests. Thank you.
In the 1950s, comedienne Lucille Ball captured the hearts of television audiences across the nation, including Bartlett. Her wacky hijinks and fearless enthusiasm kept thousands laughing. Off-screen, she and her real-life husband Desi Arnaz launched their own television studio and pioneered new technologies. But what does it mean when an onscreen legend clashes with her offscreen reality.
Join the Bartlett History Museum on Wednesday, 2/26, for Leslie Goddard’s historical portrayal of this true comic legend and the real woman behind the myth. The program will be held at Bartlett Village Hall, 228 S. Main Street.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for refreshments, with a 6:45 p.m. pre-program by the museum. Goddard’s presentation begins at 7 p.m. Registration is required for this free event. Email Pam at prohleder@bartlettil.gov with your name, the number of people attending and your phone number.
